History
Founders Michel and Jean-Pierre Hugues created GSE in 1976 and invented a new line of work: the General Contractor. This profession covers the design and turnkey construction of commercial buildings.
It offers contractual guarantees on price, deadlines and performance. Since then the offer has expanded to include land sourcing, to design & build and servicing post delivery. We called this comprehensive approach “Global Contracting”.
Today, with the GSE Group operating through a network of entities in France and abroad, our global contractor approach has been widely imitated across the commercial real estate industry.
