Adapt to specific industrial processes
GSE helped the company put together the overall project concept, design a building adapted to the production process and develop the site, with engineers involved intimately throughout the project.
This 3,400 m² factory produces around one ton of insect meal per day. The feat is having succeeded in industrialising the manufacturing process, moving from a manual insect breeding and processing system to a large scale industrial robotic system. To cope with the odours and heat produced by insect breeding, an efficient and ingenious ventilation system had to be installed.
