GSE wins the Special Jury Prize at the Agora Awards
On 5 May, GSE won the Special Jury Prize at the Agora Awards organised by Agora Supply Chain, rewarding the global contractor’s expertise in multi-storey buildings.
Faced with the new challenges of logistics – scarcity of land, last mile, soil sealing, growth of e-commerce – GSE is positioning itself as a pioneer in the design & build of next-generation multi-storey logistics buildings in Europe.
In August 2021, GSE delivered a four-level logistics platform totalling 186,000 m2 of floor space: currently France’s largest logistics building. This was GSE’s second multi-storey logistics building, following Paris Air 2 in Gennevilliers, Greater Paris (for Vailog, Segro Group). Two other projects are under construction and will be delivered later this year in Germany and China. Also in 2022, three projects will start in France, Italy and China.
GSE created a department dedicated to this new specialisation in 2021: two structural experts, a utilities expert, a project manager, a design manager and a marketing product manager. Their role is to coordinate the project teams, guarantee our buildings’ quality and build on the expertise GSE developed in recent years.
