Design and construction of a 440-space multi-storey car park on four levels
The project to build a 440-space multi-storey car park on four levels is an initiative of SEMMARIS, the manager of the Rungis International Market, in response to growing logistics needs and limited land space. The main objective is to optimize parking space to improve the market’s accessibility and functionality.
The challenges include reducing the footprint of ground-level car parks to free up space for new logistics platforms, centralizing the different types of parking for more efficient use of space, developing electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and integrating innovative solutions to improve traffic management and flow.
The project is distinguished by its use of recycled wood facades, an airy construction concept based on the Goldbeck principle, and a prefabricated concrete slab.
