Extending the world’s “Best Industrial Building”

 

GSE was asked to the 18,000 m² APLIX Pavilion. To maximise wellbeing in the workplace, the project called upon GSE’s R&D and Innovation teams to provide flawless architectural quality.

 

The original building had been named the world’s Best Industrial Building by British magazine World Architecture News. So the stakes were high for the extension’s design and performance to match the existing building perfectly.

 

The project also required a special organisation of the works: GSE had to carry out the construction while the Aplix teams were working on the site.
