In a call to tender conducted in 2019, the Haute-Marne Immo Bail public-private partnership selected GSE for the design and turnkey construction of a 23,000 m² industrial complex. In this state-of-the-art factory, LISI Aerospace Forged Integrated Solutions, a major player in the aerospace industry, will manufacture forged aeronautical parts.

The platform will include 18,000 m2 of industrial halls with a clear height of up to 16 metres, 2,000 m2 of plant rooms, as well as 3,000 m2 of offices and social premises. The entire site has been given special acoustic and vibration treatment to minimise the impact of the forging machines’ operation.

With this new project, GSE is providing LISI Aerospace with a new, highly modern production tool, benefiting from the latest technologies and adapted to the industrial stakes of tomorrow: a lean-flow, smart, energy-efficient and environmentally exemplary factory.

Starting in the preliminary project phase, GSE’s teams used BIM for the building’s design, enabling all stakeholders to visualise and fine-tune a digital copy of the factory, prior to the real one.

Work on the first of two stages of this “Forge 2022” industrial complex is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2021, after obtaining the building permit (applied for in June by Lyon-based architects UNANIME) and the environmental permit.
