GSE and real estate management firm ALDERAN welcomed employees of Groupe Pomona and Viapost on the site of their future logistics platform in Fontenoy-sur-Moselle, where they planted trees.

The project is to establish – with the site’s future workers – an urban forest around the logistics building. The planting of trees native to the region will create, applying the Miyawaki method, a natural ecosystem high in biodiversity. The Miyawaki method produces optimal conditions for the trees to grow quickly. Micro-forests are adapted to small spaces in urban areas, with a density of three trees per square metre, producing 20 times more biodiversity.

The goal of the planting session was to involve the employees of the future occupier in project, to form a bond between them and their future working environment. This collaborative action will remain as an ode to nature and wellbeing at work. In total, more than two thousand trees of some twenty different species will be planted.
