Two GSE construction projects receive awards at the SIMI 2011Grand Prix Dec 09, 2011
The first prize concerns projects nominated in the category of Business and Research Buildings: it is for a mixed usage building, located in France, which can be new or renovated, featuring more than 5000 m² of floor area. The other prize, in the category of logistics buildings, is an award given for a new or renovated building that has a floor area of at least 10,000 m² for new buildings, and less than 10,000 m² for renovated buildings and urban logistics buildings.
The Grand Prix jury, made up of Corporate Real Estate Directors, awarded GSE the first prize for the new Schneider Electric Global Knowledge Centre built by GSE in Carros. This innovative project combines efficiency and comfort to enhance performance while improving quality of life in the workplace, and was built to low-energy EFFINERGIE HPE certification standards. GSE won the other award for the 46,500 m² new generation logistics platform it built for Eurocopter, which will be operated by DAHER in conjunction with the real estate investor, Barjane.
