GSE confirms growth in large-scale cluster projects

GSE’s new real estate programs confirm its expertise and growth in the complex, innovative service sector projects. This expanding activity features high environmental quality and meets the demands and expectations of the market and the clients, both users and investors.

GSE participates in the development of cluster projects (“pôles de compétitivité”)

Following the construction of the Research and Development Center in Palaiseau, for the Thales Group, in 2005, GSE has just delivered the new premises for the Optical Institute Graduate School, covering a total surface area of 14,000 m².

In close collaboration with the Serau architecture offices, GSE has designed and built over 50,000 m² on the Saclay plateau. With these two major projects, GSE has confirmed its expertise and involvement in building cluster developments.

This innovative cluster project has been designed for technological exchange with the prestigious French school, the Ecole Polytechnique.

The project

The Optical Institute Graduate School project includes 4 building sections which meet the varied and complex constraints inherent in the many Optical Institute activities (anti-vibration, atmosphere treatment, other…).

Buildings house classrooms, two auditoriums, research laboratories, in-house and external communications spaces.

GSE develops a bio-development park in Aquitaine

Local political authority has focused on working with small and medium-sized business leaders furthering industrial growth in the fields of health and nutrition, leading to plans for the creation of a Bio-Development Park in the town of Pessac, under the auspices of the Aquitaine Agency for Industrial Development.

GSE, under the operational direction of 2ADI, is currently identifying the requirements of the various firms who are interested in participating in this park. GSE will design several modulable yet dedicated buildings for user needs, combine and optimize energy production and industrial fluids, propose financial solutions to meet each company’s needs, and deliver the new production tools to the businesses as quickly as possible.

Administrative procedures for this innovative, bold, high added-value project will start in the second quarter of 2007, for operational start-up in summer of 2008, within the framework of collaboration between GSE and the Patriarche architectural offices.

The project
  • overall zone development,
  • development of 6 industrial buildings for each one of the small businesses,
  • development of one central building housing various energy productions,
  • development of a business center housing shared services.
