Straight forward organisation

The project manager is the link between all the various people involved in the project from design through to completion.

  • He surveys the design and build phases
  • He takes care of consultation documents
  • He selects the companies who will work on the project
  • He coordinates the works on site
  • He adjudicates in the decision making process
  • He is responsible for the handover of the building
  • He takes care of after sales

He is the sole point of contact between all those involved in the project.

The purchase process

You enter into consultation with the project manager.

A technical dossier clearly defines the required levels of performance. The relevant parts of the contract are annexed to the consultation dossier.

During the consultation period, the project manager responds to your questions and validates your bids. The most competitive tenders are analysed during the course of meetings with the project engineer.

As a result of this, the project manager and the firm which has been retained sign a contract.
The project manager alone will make these choices on behalf of GSE.

A large number of projects

The GSE Contract

The relationship between GSE and subcontracting companies is based on a mutual openness and the respect of engagements.

These engagements are formalised in the contract :

Administrative documentation

  • Special conditions
  • GSE’s general administrative conditions
  • Overall organisational chart

Technical documentation

  • General technical description
  • General technical specifications per work package
  • Description of works
  • Framework of price breakdown
  • Time schedule of works
  • General drawings
  • Specific drawings

GSE respects commitments : less than one contentious contract per one thousand contracts.

Maximised use of time
  • Consultation phase : 100 % certainty
GSE only consults for projects which are 100% certain to be carried out (signed contracts). A quantification sheet established by GSE is always attached to the consultation document.
  • Construction phase : strict respect of the time schedule
The high standards which we impose on ourselves we also ask of you. The construction time schedule is followed scrupulously and reliably by a project coordinator. In this way you will be able to plan your operations.
  • Payment for the works : a simplified procedure
One person alone validates work carried out - the project manager : this ensures that payment is made quickly, according to our commitments.
Subcontractor Charter
  • GSE has a policy of striving constantly to improve the quality of construction.
  • GSE never compromises on quality nor on safety.
  • GSE respects commitments.
  • GSE’s relationships with qualifying companies are lasting relationships.
  • GSE takes care of coordinating the works according to the drawings without interfering with the supervisory role of the subcontractor.

  • GSE’s requirements are clearly stated.
