GSE and the Health Field

For several years now, GSE’s engineering teams have acquired recognised design and construction capability in several specific health-related fields such as research and development, life sciences, biotechnology, hospitals and clinics.

A close collaboration

GSE teams dedicated to the health sector have been working in partnership with the medical end-users to valorise and perfect their projects, from clinic reorganisation to the construction of new health care facilities.

The GSE approach is based on its ability to gather and analyse user requirements and convert them into a detailed, optimised, competitive technical programme.

A global approach

GSE added value in the health field can primarily be found in the following important areas:

  • recommendations for integration of technological innovations in the buildings,
  • design and construction of life spaces conducive to improved human relations between patients, visitors and hospital staff,
  • optimisation of hospital logistics, result of the master  plan for the functioning of all internal structures: admissions, care, pharmacy, general stores, central kitchens, laundry and other…

Once the programme has been finalised and approved by the doctors, GSE contracts for the construction of all the building trades, guaranteeing the construction quality, total cost and construction deadlines, protecting and guaranteeing the doctors’ investment.
