 GSE has entered the Global Compact to pursue its policy of sustainable development. Global Compact was launched in July 2000 at the personal initiative of UN Secretary General Kofi Annan.
Global Compact is an approach to gather, on a worldwide level, companies, UN bodies, the corporate world, the academic world and civil society, to focus on ten universal principles of human rights, working standards, and environmental standards.
Relying on the power of collective action, Global Compact seeks to promote companies’ civic responsibility so that the corporate world participates in seeking the solutions to more balanced globalization.
