The total surface area of the land is 163 426 m², and will house the seven logistics buildings (in phase 1) currently being constructed by GSE on a logistics park which opened officially on the 23 June 2005.
This project embodies the new generation of logistics parks, integrating a design in harmony with the environment whilst maintaining a respect for nature. This site at the industrial park of Chanteloup at Moissy-Cramayel, Ile-de-France (77), is subject to a “Quality Environment” charter signed with the local government; in addition to this the project also benefits from a “Green Site” charter issued by GSE due to wish of ProLogis that the park should be constructed and used with a respect for the environment, and also with a respect for the well-being of both the local population and site employees.
All aspects of this site have been tightly regulated – the choice of materials used, circulation of traffic or routes used by the various site vehicles, so that the nuisance level is kept to a minimum.
This is a first in France and makes this pilot site a park which is quite unusual, constructed with a respect for the principals of long term development.
The first building is already in use and rented by “LU France” for the storage of biscuits. |
